About the Artist
Hugo’s sharp vision and cross-disciplinary background, from his time studying Architecture in Paris, have been translated into his distinctive and recognisable photography. Through his meticulous and creative process, Comte creates a dreamlike world, existing independent of a time or an era, in which every detail has been considered (from hair, makeup, lighting, sets etc...).
With a deep understanding and appreciation for the fashion photography of the 90’s, Comte has developed a very distinctive vision; creating compelling imagery, the centre of which is the model – capturing the interiority of his subjects, their intention and strength.
